The Taper Dance

Okay, this dance is really making me insane. Don't know the steps and feel like I'm stumbling over my feet right now. So many things to do and don't know where to begin.

Hard to concentrate on anything except Ironman right now, even at work I stare at the computer screen checking the weather forecast for Madison every couple of minutes.

Lets get this big dance going I say.

So with that, I heard this song on the radio awhile ago and made it my Ironman song. I know I might loose my ManCard on this one, but hey It should be more respectable then possibly peeing in my wetsuit and on the bike during IMWI,

Natasha Bedingfield - Unwritten Lyrics
Album: Unwritten

Lyrics:

"I am unwritten, can't read my mind, I'm undefined

I'm just beginning, the pen's in my hand, ending unplanned

Staring at the blank page before you

Open up the dirty window

Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find

Reaching for something in the distance

So close you can almost taste it

Release your innovations

Feel the rain on your skin

No one else can feel it for you

Only you can let it in

No one else, no one else

Can speak the words on your lips

Drench yourself in words unspoken

Live your life with arms wide open

Today is where your book begins

The rest is still unwritten

Oh, oh, oh

I break tradition, sometimes my tries, are outside the lines

We've been conditioned to not make mistakes, but I can't live that way

Staring at the blank page before you

Open up the dirty window

Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find

Reaching for something in the distance

So close you can almost taste it

Release your inner visions

Feel the rain on your skin

No one else can feel it for you

Only you can let it in

No one else, no one else

Can speak the words on your lips

Drench yourself in words unspoken

Live your life with arms wide open

Today is where your book begins

The rest is still unwritten..."

Nothing wrong with that song. Heck I might even make it my IM theme song.

It takes a big man to admit that he might need to turn in his Man Card. :) ha ha! I love that song. It's very appropriate!

I too am looking at that weather forecast....knock on wood!

What's this about me passing you??? You're kidding, RIGHT?!! You're gonna need a nap before I cross that line!

One more week...
