"ROCKY"
10 weeks out to IronMan Wisconsin and I got desperate for some MOJO motivation.
I have been really dragging lately. So I needed some MOJO vibes from somewhere.
How can you go wrong with "ROCKY"?
Looking at my racing schedule I was surprised I finished 3/4Th's of it already.
Wow, I wasn't sure I was going to even get through the first half of it. Maybe that is why I'm feeling a little burnt these days. Or just maybe my self imposed ban on a "sweet danish" for breakfast everyday has been dragging me down as well. But so far I only have been limiting myself to once a week on that.. Wohoo, okay muffins don't count right?
But with some fellow bloggers kicking some royal butt out there at IronMan Switzerland and Ironman Coeur d'Alene. I got a little extra motivation from those performances this week.
Because kiddies, IronMan is fast approaching me these days...
So like in my younger days in the RING, I think its time to lace up my gloves again and in the words of "Rocky Balboa."
"Its not how hard you can hit, it's how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward."
So moving forward I shall, a little recovery week and some R&R in sunny Florida in the next few days should do me some good. Well if that fails, a box of cheese danishes will definitely do the trick.

Nice quotes from the movie.
Have fun in Florida! Your parents are there, right?
Maybe you need an emergency cheese danish under glass? "Break in case of emergency" - just in case! :)
This movie was better than I thought it was going to be.
Have fun in Florida!!
Good Luck, your gonna Rox!
It's already only 10 weeks until Wisconsin? How did that happen. sounds like your plan has gone really well. You're going to do great.
Writers tell each other that writing is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration, and that's kind of true, because having an idea doesn't cut it, you have to work hard to put it into concise and eloquent form. This way we reassure ourselves it's okay if we don't feel inspired, we still have the option to write.
A little while after I started running I saw a poster in the dressing room of a running store: running, it said, is 1% perspiration, and 99% inspiration. This way we reassure ourselves it's okay if we need to sweat a little, the main thing is we are inspired.
Aren't we strange?
Hey...I say it's cool to do/view whatever inspires you. Thanks for sharing!
I love those quotes!
I will see you in WI. I'll email you my cell number. Bring on the IceAGe!
