Finally!!
It's finally here, the day before the election. Let all the madness stop and get on with this. I have watched all the debates, been clued to CNN and Headline news. Formed an opinion and hope to god it was the right one.
But I'm tired of all the campaigning from both sides. I'm actually glad I don't live in one of the battleground states and not overly bombarded with campaign commercials. Or is it just me tuning those commercial out lately.
So go out and VOTE. I will and maybe go for a leisurely bike ride afterwards. Because YES!! I get a paid day off from work to do my civic duty. Woohoo.
But all I really want after this election is one thing and one thing only..
I gotta get one of those CNN magic boards.
How much fun would that be to have one of those things. Have you seen what these touchy screens can do.
Next post, I will be back to my regular scheduled bloggy program with a race report of the Lakefront 50 miler I did on Saturday. All I got to say is, my feet are killing me. Somebody PLEASE remind me not run these many miles on concrete again.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! BTW - did you see when SNL spoofed those touchy boards with the US map? It was sooo hilarious! You thought they were going to talk about the election but instead they just moved the states around, drew smiley faces, changed colors of the states, etc.
That's a long way to run ESPECIALLY on the road. More and more I'm prefering to run on dirt myself.
I'm with you on this election thing. I'm sick of it, especially the phone calls. That's just too much.
I don't get the day off to vote, but I'll be there when the polls open. :-)

Just got back from voting! YAY for my civic duty!!
I KNOW. I can't stop watching it. Gonna be a late night tonight here in CO, one of those battleground states. Hopefully I swung it the right way! :-)

Well, now we have to hear endless commentary on what went well for one and wrong for another. Let's hope that soon we get back to normal, if that's even possible. I think the news media's having trouble going through detox.

Thanks for all the encourgement you sent my way as DNF'd at the 50k. I am happy with the DNF! Next time I'll train. Shooting to finish this weekends race, 5.25 miles and back on some nice soft trails
