"GAME TIME"
It's "game time" this weekend. Not sure what to call it, an Iron Man race, a 140.6 triathlon, whatever it will become it will be a long "ASS" race for sure. And that's how I'm going to treat it.
I started to train for this 10 weeks ago and see how it would it turn out? But I must tell you I wish I had more time. 10 weeks is not enough time to train for a 10+ hour triathlon.
But adjustments were made, most of my "ASS" pain that travelled down my leg has for the most part subsided. A big celebration on that..
I had to stop running for two weeks to make it go away, so my marathon run after cycling 112 miles will be quite interesting to say the least.
The course is pretty much flat and the weather is looking good. What else can I ask for.
Two loops swim,
Two loop Bike,
Four Loop run course,
Sound easy enough? Okay not that easy.. But I will get through it and do my best.
"A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more." ~ Steve Prefontaine
Life is good, because after this weekend I'm back on the trails for somemore Ultra fun.
Good luck to all my bud's racing IronMan Wisconsin on Sunday!!

Good luck. It's very encouraging that you'll go into it with a little less pain in the butt.
GOOD LUCK!!! I'm sure you're going to do awesome ;D Cheese danish . . .YUM!!
I do not do well with loops. Ask anyone who runs with me :). Four loops on a run is going to take mental focus for sure. Good thing you are an Ultra Runner. We have lots of mental practice so focus will be easy for you.
You will rock this for sure!!
Good luck.
Have a great day!!! Can't wait to hear about it!
Best wishes for a good race. Enjoy it!
Hey I was thinking about you today, good luck this weekend! I love the Pre quote!
Go get em! I'll be thinking about you this weekend.
Good luck RBR, at least all that rain has passed through and you don't have to contend with that.
