I went to the kiddo's old room the other day and looked in the closet for some reason. Then I said "Wholly Crap", four weeks is the countdown these days for another rugrat to enter this crazy world of ours.
In all honestly, me and the wife are not freaked out of what is heading towards our way. Hmm, maybe the freak out will happen that day!
But as you can tell from the clothes, I don't think I would dress a specific gender in a tutu so guess what rugrat I will have to put another GPS signal on when they become a teenager. So with that said, I get to name the rugrat, so any suggestions on a name would be appreciated. I have some ideas but throwing a dart at the baby name book was not appreciated by the wifey.
On the training front, my running/training has been like my blogging. Sporadic at best. But trying to start out slowly as I'm still trying to recover from my plantar facilities ailments.
But I have had some winter training runs in the past two weeks. 9.5 miles in 18 degree weather yesterday. And a 6 mile snowshoe run last weekend. They do come in handy these days.

I need to burn off these 10+ lbs of holiday pounds that I recently discovered.
Now I hope everybody is staying warm and forgive me for not keeping up with your blogs. I need to get more of that in as well.

Forgive you? uh...ok...absolutely! Let's see working father of baby #2 busy.. busy.
Name front:
Boy-Benjamin
Girl-Hope
P.S. Can you tell that these were names that I was going to give if they were the other gender?
I would have no idea what to do with a baby girl. I was meant to have boys :)
You will have some kind of adventure getting everything in soon.
Very excited for you and your family.
Oooohhhhh Bubba you're going to LOVE every minute of it. A house full of estrogen HAHAA! My husband is always saying "I just need an apartment or something. You girls drive me nuts" But on the plus side just look at all the dough you'll be saving on baby clothes.
Girls names . . .Man I don't even know what to tell you. I'll tell you what the best girl's name evah is . . .
Marcelina HAHA
Yeah I lurve it so much I don't even use it :P
Good luck with finding just the right name. Hopefully you'll be able to sneak outside every once in awhile to burn off some of those extra calories taken in over the holiday season.
Here's a suggestion: don't let some idiot blogger pick your kid's name. This one's on you, Dad.
I like the GPS idea, though. Maybe a chip implant like they do with kittens. I wonder if it's too late to do that with my own kids.
Four weeks! WoooHooo!
Not gonna try to help you name the kiddo. It needs to mean something to YOU not me. ;-)
I love the dart idea! I'm totally backin' you up on that!
Good luck over the next 4 weeks!! (and then for the next 18 years...)
it will be wild and you will love every minute if it....
well..
almost every minute
It's getting real for my wife and I as well...this weekend? Painting up the "spare" bedroom so the little one that is currently in the baby room can have her own room to make space for the new one arriving in March....here we go.
Mia is one of my fav names these days. Hope Mom is feeling good in her last month.
Hey--you on facebook??? If not, it's easier to stay in touch--think about it. A bunch of the bloggers are on there. And befriend me--Lora Mantelman.
Looking forward to bumping into you on the lakefront when the weather changes.
