Time is NEAR!

Yes the time is near for the new rugrat to enter the Bubba household. Seven days and counting to be exact.

Are we totally ready, not quiet sure. Sure the newborn clothes have been sorted out and pampers are ready to be worn. What else does a newborn actually need besides the essentials.

Are we freaked out, not really, maybe because it will be our second child. But it has been a long road to get to this point so I'm sure we will be overcome with emotion when we see our rugrat for the first time.

Hmm, name yet? Have some ideas, 2 to 3 to be exact, but nothing special or crazy like what the celebrities call their kids nowadays. But "Xenia" the warrior princess did cross my mind. She is a strong women who does not take any crap and since my dogs are named after Greek mythology/characters as well, it was just a thought. We shall see?

On the training aspect, I'm starting to get my body used to training for an IronMan again. The three plus times a week on each sport does take a lot of energy to pull off on a weekly basis.

My twinges or injuries are still chronic. Plantar fasciitis I feel will take forever to go away. But I can run, just the aftermath is a little painful, but getting a little better.

Still waiting for this dang cold weather to break or get around 50 degrees to take out my "baby" as well for a little ride. My "baby" or winter project is complete now. So this year a new ride will hopefully make me faster or at least more comfy on the longer distance races.

So when I got this it was like this:

So with keeping FedEx, postal service, and course Ebay stimulated with my cash. My new ride has becomes this.

Mechanic: Bubba

Ebay Cost: Cha-ching $$$$

Retail price Bigger Cha-Ching $$$$$

Getting passed by a old guy in a 10 year old Schwinn : It will be PRICELESS

Sweet ride!! and start delivery day asking for directions to the epidural. Ask everyone starting with the guy in the parking garage.
Everything after that will be tears of joy. ;-)

PF *does* seem to take forever to heal. But consider this: You'll be fully engaged when the baby's born and not feel torn with your training. Can't wait for the big announcement!
